About us
This club started in the summer of 2026 when Belinda (from UK) and Anna (from Sweden) took over the reins from Ourique Garden Club and then opened up for gardeners from the whole Campo Branco area. We both live in the countryside and want to learn more about gardening here. In the summer heat and the winter waterlogged soil. To see plants thrive and flowering is a gardeners dream, right?
After being members in a garden association in the Algarve, we both realised that we have another reality here in the Campo Branco area. So to start this club felt important for us, and hopefully also to you who are gardening in Ourique, Aljustrel, Castro Verde or Almodôvar.
Why Campo Branco
Campo Branco covers the vast, arid pseudosteppe plains in Baixo Alentejo. If you live in either of the municipals Ourique, Castro Verde, Aljustrel or Almodôvar and feel connected to this warm, dry inland you are welcome to join Campo Branco Gardening Club.

Garden visits
Visits to other members´ gardens. Not perfect, but real. Learn how others solve problems.
Other Events
Events like visit a vineyard, a new park or just enjoy a cup of coffee together might also happen.
Plant Swaps
Swap your excess, your pots with healthy plants that you dont have a space for, and receive something new.

Our digital chat forum is in a WhatsApp group. Ask questions, get to know each other and have fun.
Join us by filling in the form on our calender page, where you as a member can see all planned and past events listed. From that platform we also send newsletters to members. If you share the garden interest with your partner, make sure both of you sign up for membership!
